There was a major shift toward palletised loads from the later 1950s, for which BR built a wide range of vehicles, some of which were visually striking.

Modelling a Palbrick wagon using a Peco 10 foot wheelbase chassis kit  You can probably produce a better looking model, the examples shown were done very quickly just to try out the idea. The Hornby Minitrix vacuum braked chassis is a better bet for the very slightly larger Palbrick B if you have any in your bits box.  |
